One of the critical aspects of safety in cannabis industry is detection and elimination of heavy metal contaminants. Cannabis plant can absorb metals (Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic and Mercury) from soil, water and fertilizers. These metal contaminants are toxic when consumed and pose serious health risk to consumers. Using Inductively Coupled mass technology, we can detect metals (Arsenic, Mercury, Cadmium, Lead and Chromium) at trace levels according to USP 232 and USP 233 methods.
